Spring Rec Baseball
New Canaan Baseball has aligned our Cal Ripken Divisions to enhance the skills and aptitude of our players at all age and development levels.
The program is open to players aged 4-12 as of April 30. Seventh grade players turning 13 on or before April 30th are no longer eligible for Cal Ripken Baseball, but are eligible to play Babe Ruth Baseball.
All travel baseball participants must register.
Bitty Rams & Cubs
Our younger divisions are grade-based, providing for positive social interactions with classmates and ease of scheduling with other sports.
Minors & Majors
Our older divisions are grade- and ability-based. Grouping players of similar ability provides the greatest developmental environment for our players while also maximizing safety.

Important Equipment Information
All baseball participants must provide their own batting helmet and glove. In addition, New Canaan Baseball adheres to the USA bat standards. All baseball bats must bear the USA Baseball stamp to be eligible for play for all Cal Ripken Baseball divisions.
